Can I Modify My Existing Loan?

WHAT IF FORECLOSURE HASN’T STARTED YET?

If your mortgage payments have become difficult, even if you’re not yet late or in foreclosure, then it is time to act. If you are suffering a hardship due to loss of employment, death of a relative, reduction of income, illness or any other unexpected event, we want to find a way to help you, whatever your situation. If we can make an adjustment to your mortgage before late payments, notice of defaults, and the like, then it is better for everyone.

SO, HOW DO I START?

If after that interview we feel we can assist you with a modification we will need you to submit a complete loan package which includes your current financials. After we receive your financial information, our legal and processing departments will review your circumstances in order to best assist you in finding a solution.
 
The information and documentation required will depend on your individual situation. Please keep in mind that normal collection proceedings up to and including foreclosure, may continue during the reviewing process. Therefore, we recommend that you provide us with the required financial information as soon as possible so that we can quickly assess your options for avoiding foreclosure as well as for modifying your current loan.

Once we have had a chance to review the provided information, we will sit down with you in person or by telephone (depending on your location) so that we can discuss how best to proceed.
